Terms and Conditions

The customer has been given full opportunity to examine the vehicle sold to me under the sales invoice prior to accepting delivery of the said vehicle that and whether or not I took that opportunity to examine the said vehicle, I am satisfied that the vehicle is free from all reasonable defects and I accept its condition at the time of the said vehicle's collection/delivery.

Part Exchange Vehicles
If we accept a vehicle in exchange, the buyer must report any problems he/she is aware of including whether the vehicle has any outstanding finance, whether the car has suffered any accidents regardless if it was registered on the insurance database or not and if the vehicle has mechanical or electrical malfunctions. If something is not reported, the warranty on the vehicle the customer is purchasing will be invalidated.

If the buyer decides not to buy the vehicle and cancels the contract for the purchase of the said vehicle, Flex Cars are entitled to look for and recover their reasonable expenses, such as administration costs and loss of profit. These costs will be deducted from any prepayments made by the buyer and any remaining monies will be refunded.
I understand that I may only return the vehicle for repair of any defects or faults on it if those defects can be proven by the buyer of the vehicle, that the defect(s) were present at the time of collection/delivery of the said vehicle.

I agree that if the said vehicle is returned to Flex Cars for a repair or refund under the terms of the consumer rights act 2015, then the vehicle is delivered to Flex Cars by the purchaser or his agent and that the cost of return shall be the sole liability of the purchaser.

I agree that I shall not be able to return the vehicle to Flex Cars unless the vehicle is delivered with a vehicle registration document (V5C), pertaining to the said vehicle and
all paperwork, documents, and spare keys where available are handed back to the office for the refund process to begin. By law we have 14 days to issue a refund from the point the refund is agreed and the above actions have been done.

Flex Cars has not been able to confirm the mileage recorded on the said vehicle's odometer and it must be considered incorrect. However, we have checked the mileage is consistent with the MOT history check tool, on the gov.uk website and any mileage discrepancies will be disclosed on the vehicle description.

None of the above terms and conditions affect the buyer's statutory rights under the consumer rights act or any other relevant and current legislation.

Any repair work covered by the warranty will be carried out in-house at Flex Cars. The maximum claim amount is 14% of the price of the vehicle purchased, including parts and labour. Should any repair exceed this amount, the buyer must pay the excess amount.
Extra warranty can be purchased and can be fully tailored to our customer's needs. Terms and Conditions apply. Vehicles over 14 years old or with mileage over 120k miles will be sold with no warranty and as seen unless stated otherwise in writing.
